Every day, new AI models emerge, and the vast majority are built upon the foundational research of tech giants. Is this wrong? I am convinced that it is not. It is pragmatic. Leveraging powerful architectures is the only way to accelerate technological progress on a global scale and make these tools accessible to everyone.
I am at the beginning of my journey as a programmer. It is a challenging path, especially when taking on such a transformative step in my career. To learn faster and more effectively, I actively use the capabilities of modern language models. They are essential tools that help me overcome the technical and personal barriers I face daily.
As part of this process, I have launched a development journal on Patreon. Why there? It was crucial for me to find a space free from the intrusive advertising that often distracts from the core content on platforms like YouTube. Patreon allows me to publish in a “raw” and honest format—video, audio, and written notes about my experiments. This is not a polished portfolio; it is a true diary of self-improvement where I document both my wins and my struggles.
I am intentionally refraining from sharing the direct link to this community with my English-speaking audience for now. To be honest, I am not yet psychologically ready for that step—I need more time to refine my internal system and bring the project to a higher standard. However, in time, when I feel confident, I will provide access to everyone. In the interim, I will continue to write diverse articles on my blogs in both English and Russian. I am even considering writing in Spanish, though that remains a distant thought for now.
In the future, once I reach a high level of proficiency in development, I plan to build my own AI translator. It will translate my content in real-time into various languages, effectively removing the language barrier between me and my audience.
This path—a radical change in profession and lifestyle—is a bold and risky move. Yet, the discipline I am cultivating through this public journal is worth every effort.
