How I Beat Chronic Fatigue and Stress: My Personal Health Transformation

My Personal Health Transformation.
how to beat chronic fatigue and stress

Today, I want to share my personal journey toward better health. I know this is a topic that hits home for many, especially during the cold seasons when viruses are everywhere. Before switching to a ketogenic lifestyle, I was sick all the time. Over-the-counter medicine was my constant companion, and I was relying on it almost weekly. But by diving deep into nutrition, breathing techniques, cold exposure, and mindset, everything changed.

In short, I finally managed to get rid of the chronic lower back pain that used to radiate down my left leg. I get sick much less often, and when I do, recovery is significantly faster and easier. My nervous system stabilized, my dental issues and bleeding gums disappeared, and my energy levels surged. My sleep quality improved drastically, too. It’s not just one thing; it’s a total overhaul of the health problems that haunted me for decades. I won’t claim I’m “perfectly healthy,” but compared to where I was, this is a massive victory.

Over the last two years, I’ve almost completely ditched pharmaceutical drugs. There were a few moments where I reached for them out of “old habit,” but I eventually realized they weren’t necessary. To be clear: I am not giving medical advice. This is simply my personal choice, based on how I feel and how my body has responded.

While I don’t follow a strict keto diet anymore, I still stick to its core principles, largely inspired by Dr. Berg’s recommendations. My daily routine includes a B-100 complex, MK7, magnesium, and zinc. I also added wheatgrass powder and my signature tea with turmeric and black pepper. Some might say it’s expensive, but when you compare the cost of these supplements and high-quality meals to years of medical bills and pharmacy trips, it’s a bargain.

However, I still have challenges. Hair regrowth is slow—the majority of my bald spot has filled in, but the very top still shines a bit under the sun. Stubborn belly fat is another opponent; if I slack off on my workouts for two or three weeks, it creeps back quickly. Also, if I mess up my sleep schedule, getting back on track takes effort—though, compared to my pre-keto life, it’s much easier to recover now.

The biggest surprise? I no longer crave sugar. I used to be a total sugar addict—cakes, chocolates, cookies—I ate them daily in insane amounts. I was eating 4–6 times a day and snacking at night, yet I was always hungry. Stress used to trigger massive cravings, but now, I mostly practice OMAD (One Meal A Day) or sometimes two meals a day, and it’s more than enough. I’m no longer obsessed with snacking or sugar.

Speaking of stress: I used to suffer from constant acid reflux and bloating that plagued me for decades. KETO became a reset button for both my body and my mind. Things that used to make me lose my temper now leave me calm. I learned to control explosive emotions. Stress is just stress now—it’s no longer an excuse to binge-eat.

My next goal is to stop reacting to stress entirely and simply stay calm under pressure. I’m working toward this through mindfulness, meditation, exercise, and intermittent fasting.

I used to live in a constant “brain fog.” Now, while it’s not 100% crystal clear 24/7, my mind is significantly sharper. I learn faster, I remember better, and I have energy. I don’t have to force myself to work anymore; I just do it.

The best example? The last few months. For years, I struggled to understand my home’s heating system, water filtration, and sewage. Every failure sent me into a deep depression, leaving me exhausted and unable to function for months. But look at me now—”keto-renewed.” In just three months, I repaired and tuned my heating, water, and sewage systems myself, without hiring experts. I even learned to weld plastic pipes! I did in one season what I couldn’t do for years. It’s not magic; it’s the result of a disciplined lifestyle, diet, and mindset shift.

I’m sharing this so you know that what seemed like science fiction is actually achievable. I hope my experience helps you overcome your own hurdles. We will reach our goals—efficiently and quickly.
