? Introduction: It’s Time for an Open Development Checklist

Hello everyone! While December is the traditional time for summing up, I decided to do a preliminary review now. This post is my personal report and a development checklist. I’m sharing my achievements, my missteps, and my ambitious goals, hoping to inspire you to start creating your own year-end status report and plan.

My goals for 2026 are significant, but I believe that as long as there is a plan, there is movement.

1. Progress in 2025: Catching Up

The year is far from over, but here is what I can highlight so far:

  • Physical Development: I’m seeing noticeable progress. Improved fitness is always a boost to productivity and focus.
  • Programming (C++, Python, Bash): After a forced 4-month break, I am actively catching up. It’s challenging, but necessary to stay in the race.
    • My Personal Challenge: Successfully start my Diploma Project for the programming course by the end of December 2025. This would be the most significant achievement of the year.

?️ Workshop Plans and Electronics

In parallel with coding, I’ve begun gradually equipping my mini-workshop (photos and videos are available on my Telegram channel).

  • I am currently fundraising for a fume extractor for soldering.
  • The plan is to master using a multimeter (tester) and learn how to read electrical schematics.
  • The ultimate goal is to assemble electronics and solder PCBs, possibly even based on my own designs.
  • By the way: I recently watched a tutorial video about generators that use magnetism. To understand the principles of magnetic fields and electricity generation, I plan to write a series of separate, easy-to-digest articles on this topic.

? The SEO Puzzle

I have resumed studying SEO, but as my open statistics show, blog traffic is almost zero. I am following recommendations from articles and books, but there is no visible result yet. This is my current SEO-puzzle, and I hope to find the answer to help my project grow.

2. The Setback and the Key Lesson of 2025

The most significant setback: Car repair. After buying engine parts, I unfortunately damaged one of them during the process, leading to a failed repair. The result: a day’s work with no running car, and now I need to save up for a new part again.

Lesson Learned: A setback is not the end. It is merely a delay and a reminder that in any complex task (be it code or mechanics), maximum precision and attention to detail are crucial.

3. Ambitious Goals and Dreams for 2026

? Main Priority

My primary goal for 2026 is to successfully complete my programming course, earn a Junior Specialist Certificate, and secure a remote job in this field. Achieving this goal is my ticket to the future.

? Technical and Personal Tasks

  • Repair and Code: Fix the car and restore the video surveillance system. As a practical project, I plan to write my own program for intelligent video surveillance (though outside the course scope, I will learn it independently, building on the fundamentals of C++, Python, and Bash).
  • Energy Independence: Begin assembling an autonomous power supply system for my video surveillance network and mini-workshop.
  • Travel: I have a strong desire to revisit Georgia for a few months, and also to explore new countries I haven’t been to.

? Conclusion: Your Checklist and Motivation to Act

This article is my public checklist. It will be updated in December 2025 (final results) and in January 2026 (action plan).

And now, a question for you, the reader:

If you haven’t done a preliminary review of the year or set a clear plan, when, if not now, should you start creating your own checklist? A clearly formulated goal is already half the battle.

? Support My Ambitious Development

I am again reaching out to ask for a small donation. Your financial support is extremely important for my ambitious development: to purchase car parts, workshop equipment, and continue my education, which is a great challenge for me.
